Cowbra and Ageus have been involved with several not for profit organisation. From structuring and start up to branding, design and assisting with management, we have supported these organisations as required. It has been a pleasure to work with these groups and we look forward to continuing our relationships.

Hugh Jackman

THE JACKMAN FURNESS FOUNDATION FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS

After an introduction and dialogue, the Hugh Jackman and Debora –Lee Furness engaged with Ageus to undertake the start-up of the Jackman Furness Foundation for the Performing Arts.

Ageus managed the process from legal incorporation and charitable status, identifying and securing key management and Eminent Persons Advisory Board on which Ageus had representation, proper compliance and regulatory process and day to day management of the foundation.

Ageus also work with the founders to brand the foundation and put in place its communication and online presence.

The mission of the Jackman Furness Foundation for the Performing Arts Foundation was to support the Performing Arts in Australia.

The Jackman Furness Foundation for the Performing Arts focuses its support on multidiscipline training institutions such as the Western Australian Academy for Performing Arts (WAAPA), which produces exceptional, skilled performers for theatre, music, dance, musical theatre and broadcast industries. WAAPA, a national treasure, is an internationally recognised performing arts institution, which has a track record of producing some of Australia and the world’s best loved performers. Jackman is part of the WAPA Alumni.

The foundation has now been taken private by the founders and still continues with its mission.

WOMEN LAWYERS OF WESTERN AUSTRALIA INC

WLWA was founded in 1982 by a group of women, including former patron, Antoinette (Toni) Kennedy AO, former Chief Judge of the District Court.

Since then WLWA has actively lobbied for and achieved a number of changes in the legal profession, such as the introduction of flexible work practices, the inclusion of sexual harassment as a breach of the professional conduct rules, consultations with the State Government and the Chief Justice concerning appointments of Judges and Senior Counsel and the introduction of a model briefing policy to promote equal opportunities in briefing practices.

Ageus through its corporate activities was introduced to WLWA. Cowbra has now partnered with them to rebrand the organisation and bring continuity to its marketing and communications material, physical and online.

THE HELLENIC INITIATIVE

Born out of the GFC and subsequent economic crisis in Greece, a group of prominent US and Australian business people lead by Australian and Darwin born Andrew N. Liveris then former Executive Chairman of Dow Chemicals, formed the Hellenic Initiative in 2012. We have assisted the Australian chapter with design, branding and administrative assistance for events and function and continue to work closely with them.

Its primary functions are, crisis relief, entrepreneurship, volunteers, exchange programs and economic development.
